Our Story

Brian’s was established over 44 years ago in 1974. In August of 1985, the restaurant was bought by Ronnie Wells and has been under his ownership for the last 33 years. Brian’s has a knack for making their customers feel right at home. There are two well-known traits that the restaurant lives by: great service and quality food.

After all, Brian’s is “more than just a steak house.” Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, our main dining room can accommodate up to 120 people, while our banquet room can accommodate 140 people. We also provide off-premise catering for weddings, company picnics, family reunions, and birthday parties. Big or small, Brian’s does them all.

A.B.C. privileges are available along with a fabulous wine list. Although we favor steaks, seafood, chicken, and pork, our house specialty is prime rib. Our menu includes homemade soups, salads, and our famous chicken salad, which can be purchased by the pound. Our homemade vegetable beef soup is also a take-out favorite here in South Hill. But no matter what your taste buds crave, here at Brian’s we can satisfy them all!

Sunday through Thursday: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Friday and Saturday: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

    We went there to have dinner for our 48th Anniversary since we weren't able to go on the actual day. My husband had the Prime Rib prepared just the way he likes it and I tried the Gulf Shrimp broiled and it was delicious!! We had great service as always and enjoyed our meals.     This place is right off rte. 85 and it's GOOD. I had the 10oz. ribeye, hubby had Qn. Prime rib and mom had pulled pork. It was all delicious, cooked properly and hot. Their black-eyed peas were a little sweet but very good. Bread pudding was dense so I would go with the pecan pie. Multiple hotels nearby (one right next door) so a good place to stop on a road trip.

    Brian’s ALWAYS HAS THE BEST FOOD, service is spot on and the staff is so friendly and helpful! Catering is amazing! Go check them out and remember to smell all the fresh cut Roses grown by Ronnie Wells himself!

    While traveling back home to Georgia from Maryland, I decided to try this place out. It has a very country feel to it. I had the ribeye steak cooked medium rare and it was delicious. The Mac and cheese was mouth watering. But wait, there’s more..... the bread pudding. The bread pudding was the best I’ve ever had. I got it to go and if I knew that it was gonna be so good, I would’ve ordered 2. I definitely will be back.
